Life Satisfaction

Challenges to our mental health, wellbeing and overall levels of life satisfaction can occur at any time. How we respond to these challenges can often mean that our future is defined by the present moment that we find ourselves in.

If you feel that you are missing a sense of direction in your life, or lack the motivation to make the change that you so desire, Coaching can be a suitable way to re-gain your focus and to re-take control.

It may be the case that you are going through a challenging life event, relationship difficulties, problems arising in the here and now that create uncertainty in your future. Counselling can provide a safe environment to explore your current situation.

If you have a long standing mental health condition that causes emotional or psychological distress, a personality disorder that interferes with daily tasks, or trauma/grief suffered some time ago that still causes distress, Therapy can provide a space to assess the past, adapt to life as it is lived, and to develop more suitable coping strategies for the future.

FAQs

  • It all begins with a consultation. During this initial conversation we can discuss why you are getting in touch, so that we can decide on a suitable approach to take for your sessions.

Coaching, Counselling and Therapy differ in their approach but each aim for a similar outcome, improved Mental Health. It may be the case that you initially attend for a counselling session, but upon dealing with the current issue you may decide on seeking out a new pathway forward for the future, moving from Counselling to Coaching. Taking an integrated approach to your sessions means that we can adapt to your needs as we work toward your desired outcome.

  • Any of the above, it’s your choice. We offer all 3 options and this can be discussed during a consultation.

For in person sessions we have a purpose built safe space located within USW Startup Stiwdio, CF37 1DL. The photo to your left shows the room you would attend for your sessions, which can be adapted to suitable reasonable adjustments if needed to create a space that is right for you.

Remote sessions can be arranged through Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, at a time that suits you.

Alternatively we can also arrange for telephone appointments to take place, which is usually the desired option for initial consultations.

  • There are many reasons that you may wish to reach out to speak with someone, and there are a range of issues or concerns that we can help you to address. For more information, please see our ‘Services’ section for the services that we offer that cover this question in more depth.

  • It all starts with a consultation, which is free, and will usually take around 15 minutes.

Following this sessions run for 55 minutes, with discounts offered for multiple/monthly bookings.
